Staff stories: Florence A. Oyola, Correspondence Officer

I am Florence A. Oyola, born in Bondo District in the year 1973. I'm a Catholic by denomination. I started my education at our rural home area. Having taken exams in Class Eight I joined St. Teresa's Girls Secondary School in Kisumu municipality.

After doing my "O" levels I took my training at the Kenya National Youth Service as a part-time training.

I'm a widow with a child who is 10 years old and in Class Four.

At Double Joy I'm a worker who deals with donor correspondence and I'm enjoying this work with the children. I also enjoy helping the children to manage their house-keeping money.
