Spiritual life

An African child is naturally very spiritual, religious faith being part of African culture long before the arrival of Christian missionaries. This natural faith now finds its fulfilment in active and enjoyable forms of Christianity which are widely embraced in Africa today.

Our children attend church on Sunday which is a popular meeting place for local people and can be the social highlight of the week. People wear their best clothes and treat it as a special occasion. Churches get packed so it’s good to arrive early to get a seat.

The children also say prayers and sing choruses together at morning and evening assembly.
