Help Double Joy

Christine Achieng (age 15) says:
The donation you are giving Double Joy is really helping us a lot. It has helped us live a happy and healthy life ... we are well taught and we can now live as families.

Please help us to keep going. Our supporters are our life blood and have set up a UK charity called FODJ (Friends of Double Joy), registration number 1087172. The children also love getting letters from overseas (see the pen pal scheme).

Donations

FODJ aims to keep its administration costs to the absolute minimum and currently spends a maximum of 3% of its income on administration. Donations can be made by standing order or single payments made payable to Friends of Double Joy and sent to Susan Hilliard (see contact details).

We really appreciate all donations and are especially thankful for donations by standing order as these ensure we can commit a regular amount each month to cover the essential running costs of DJ.

Double Joy Donation Cards

Do you have a friend who doesn't want to receive presents but would be pleased to know that you had helped a child on their behalf?

Double Joy Donation Cards are now available to say that you have contributed towards the cost of health and education at Double Joy - a home and school for children orphaned by Aids in Kenya.

The cards are blank inside for your message, with information about Double Joy on the back.

The suggested donation is £5, £10 or more.

Cards and notelets

Hand-made cards for any occasion (no wording) are available at £1 each. Three cards or more can be sent to you postage free. All money goes to Double Joy Children's home via the Friends of Double Joy.

Notelets (no wording inside the card) printed on high-quality card are available at five for £2.
